The food in the restaurant was outstanding. We stayed at the manoir which was a little too far from the main hotel and the room was perhaps a little small and not well lit enough. The gardens however were beautiful and the staff exceptionally friendly.
We love this hotel very much. The environment around is wonderful. The staff is very nice. We came there late and they upgraded our room for free! We enjoyed our night stay there, especially the balcony. You could see the whole valley from there.
A little bit hard to find the hotel.
Good location near sites--St Remy, Les Baux Maussane. Main area very good and convenient. We were not as pleased with the Manor house location to the main reception area. Food and service were very good. Reception personnel were professional and efficient.
The Manor House was too far from the main area of the resort. The transportation between the sites was not adequate. We had to walk to the main area multiple times as transportation was not readily available. The breakfast was very expensive for value delivered.
Exceptional location, excellent restaurant, beautiful garden
Not much. The dinner was excellent although the menu did not offer much in the way of attractive alternatives. The terrace location was pleasant.
The room was miserable - small, poor bath, remote on third floor next to road. I had interpreted the "Manoir" location to be the main building where I had stayed before with a very comfortable attractive room and bath. The price was extremely high for the poor quality. Final blow: to discover the modest continental breakfast was an extra charge again at a very high price for what was offered. A very uncomfortable experience after previous nights at the Grand Hotel du Cap Ferrat and the Hermitage in Monte Carlo. I will not return and will recommend against any use by a friend.
Great location, great restaurant, beautiful surrounding, excellent staff, relaxing. Thanks for upgrading our room for the same price.
Location was beautiful
The manor house was a little far from the main hotel where dinner was served. Dinner was very expensive
Wonderful atmosphere, beautiful house and grounds, amazing food.
Spa staff were quite rude
Very good service and excellent restaurants
The hotel is completely overrated. The room in the "Manoir" smelled of smoke. The bed was very uncomfortable. The internet connection did not work in our room until the last day. Both times the reception made reservations for us, the restraurant claimed no body from the hotel had called to reserve us a table. Also, a cup(maybe 4oz) cost us 21 euros'. Just ridiculous pricing.
well mannered staff, friendly and eager to please, even in the 2 Michelin stars restaurant, not the slightest intimidation. Lovely grounds, peaceful and romantic. Lovely suite with terrace, romantic, relaxed and utterly quiet. Breakfast in suite recommended, huge pot of coffee, good croissants. Expensive, yes.
mattress a bit hard.
Staying in the Manoir was lovely - peaceful and romantic.
The cable tv did not work for 2 days and thus there was no WiFi or English language television. There was a strong mildew smell in the room.
Location, food, facilities, environment
It is a peaceful place. The main activity is relaxing. We enjoyed it very much, There are two Michelin restaurants at this place, Perfect food!
